IEEE Conference on Communications and Network Security (CNS) is a new conference series in IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) core conference portfolio and the only ComSoc conference focusing solely on cyber security. IEEE CNS is a spin-off of IEEE INFOCOM, the premier ComSoc conference on networking. The goal of CNS is to provide an outstanding forum for cyber security researchers, practitioners, policy makers, and users to exchange ideas, techniques and tools, raise awareness, and share experience related to all practical and theoretical aspects of communications and network security.

After leading CBRNe events in Europe and Asia, the NCT CBRNe event series is coming to the Middle East!
NCT CBRNe Middle East will take place 9-11 December 2014 in Abu Dhabi, providing a one-day live CBRNe demonstration as well as two days of conference and workshops.
Taking place in a region, which has repeatedly been endangered by the proliferation and usage of nuclear and chemical weapons, NCT CBRNe Middle East 2014 will discuss this enduring threat to regional and international security, and how military special forces and first responders can prepare for the worst case. Being surrounded by conflict regions and increasingly failed states, especially countries on the Arabian Peninsula must prepare for nonconventional attacks on their homeland and people. States such as Kuwait, the UAE and Saudi-Arabia are living with CBRNe threats since the First and Second Gulf War. However, the conflict on the Iranian nuclear program, civil war and chemical weapon incidents in Syria, political instability in North Africa, as well as concerns of CBRNe proliferation to terrorist networks operating in Yemen, Iraq, Egypt, Syria and Afghanistan make the nonconventional threat a more immediate and realistic one.
IB Consultancy will therefore assemble leading international experts and regional decision-makers and first responders to discuss this imminent threat, best practices and effective approaches in CBRNe detection, mitigation and decontamination.
NCT CBRNe Middle East Highlights
- 2 days of conference and trainings with high-level speakers from the Middle East, Central Asia, Europe and the US
- Live CBRNe capability demonstration of UAE Special Forces
- Focused exhibition of 15-20 booths
- 150-200 attendees, delegations and speakers from over 20 countries
- The leading CBRNe event in Asia covering the non-conventional threat of CBRNe finally coming to the Middle East
- Two Networking Cocktail Receptions
Building on the success of three years of NCT CBRNe events in Europe and Asia, this 3-day event will face challenges and discuss novel solutions and approaches of experts from the Middle East, Central Asia, Europe and the US. While recognizing the need for exchange of information and best practices between international decision-makers and military experts, NCT CBRNe Middle East 2014 will provide the perfect platform to exchange views and novel approaches to counter this enduring threat.
